Owning a Dog
Pros
To start, dogs can be great company. They love to cuddle and will always be loyal to you. They are also very cute, and wear most clothes you put on them. Also, they are very good companions for kids, as the article “11 Pros and Cons to Owning a Dog” says. “If raised right, every dog can grow up to be kid-friendly”. Lastly, they love to play. If you like to exercise, dogs will be great for you.
Cons
Dogs need lots of training to be obedient. If you can’t get your dog to do basic commands like “sit” and “stay”, then you’re in big trouble. Also, dogs need to be potty trained as soon as possible. Next, they also are very expensive. You want to get a pair of new shoes? Well, your dog needs shots. Guess you can’t buy them! Third, dogs need lots of exercise. If you have to work all day, then they can’t really get the exercise they need.
So, overall, dogs can be great pets to have as companions, and they’ll love you all the time, but they need lots of training, exercise, and money if you want a happy pup. So if you’re considering getting a dog, be sure to think of the pros and cons.
