The Effects of Covid
By Kieran Kilmer
The Coronavirus, or COVID-19 pandemic, has, as the article “Effects of COVID-19 pandemic in daily life”, says “COVID-19 has rapidly affected our day-to-day life,”. People have had to quarantine, which is staying in their house, waiting for two weeks until they are cleared of having COVID. The entire process is boring, and seems to take forever.
In March of 2020, there was a country-wide panic when the whole country shut down, but now it’s just everyday life. One of the places that changed the most is schools. Now most schools are hybrid, which means they have some kids one part of the week, and the other kids the other half. Some other schools are full-remote, and nobody goes to school. And there are also some schools where kids go into the school every day.
People have learned how to keep themselves safe. Whenever people go out, they have to wear masks to keep others safe. Masks are used to keep you from giving other people COVID, not to keep people from giving it to you. People have been able to make businesses just from selling masks to keep people safe. Masks are now one of the most important things of everyday life.
There are a couple of really good things that came from this pandemic. Almost everybody who needed to have school learned how to use Google and all of its apps and meeting platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. Also, everybody was able to have more family time because they were stuck at home. So, the pandemic hasn’t been all bad, it helped a lot of people learn new things.
